Charming 18th-century townhouse and the last remaining home of the American diplomat, inventor, Founding Father and musician, with tours led by costumed actors. 

23 Oct, 4pm-5pm: 
Family Day: Halloween. Games and ghost stories told by an actress playing Franklin's landlady, Polly Hewson. This event is free, but you must register for tickets here at

6, 13 & 20 Dec: Festive Candlelit Tours. Experience the house as it would have been illuminated in the 18th century, accompanied by mulled wine, mince pies and an historical talk; from 6.30pm.

Architectural tours Mon noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3.15pm and 4.15pm; adult £6, child free.

Historical Experience show Wed-Sun noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3.15pm and 4.15pm; adult £8, child free.
