Opening Times

This gallery is the home of visual arts at the Southbank Centre, with regular, contemporary exhibitions. The newly redeveloped pyramid skylights enable a light-filled space. Mon, Wed and Fri-Sun 11am-7pm; Thur 11am-9pm. Free admission; charges for certain exhibitions.

To 6 May: Diane Arbus: In the Beginning. The photographer's early work, depicting New York City’s marginalised communities between 1956 and 1962.

To 6 May: Kader Attia: The Museum of Emotion. Known for his activist art, these sculptures, installations, collages, videos and images see Attia exploring how Western societies currently interact with the cultures of communities they have colonised.

From 12 Jun to 8 Sep: Kiss My Genders. Over 30 artists come together to display works on the theme of gender identity; incorporating photography, painting, sculpture and video.
