This fantastic new show in the heart of the City of London invites you to step into the world of prolific composer Jeff Wayne’s 1978 album, The War of the Worlds.
Travel back in time to 1898 and experience HG Wells’ Martian invasion story, thanks to a blend of live and virtual actors, virtual reality (VR) headsets, augmented reality (AR) technology, volumetric holograms and immersive theatre. It's your chance to journey through the alien invasion, rather than just watching it.
Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds: The Immersive Experience opened at the 22,000 sq ft Old Metal Exchange in the City on 31 May 2019. Find out what to expect below, with our 5 Reasons to Visit video – and don't forget that you can buy tickets with us here.
Thank you to every reader who entered our competition this summer to win one of three VIP experiences. The competition has now closed, so we'd like to say a massive congratulations to the lucky winners: S Goodall from Kent, A Cooke from Lincolnshire and P Rorie from London.
