Music fans can walk in their legends' footsteps at The Good Mixer, a revamped pub with a history, named after a cement mixer that got stuck in the basement, the former Irish bar in Camden was the spot where the 1990's band Elastica signed to Deceptive Records, Amy Winehouse hung out and the Blur vs Oasis feud kicked off after a Gallagher brother insulted the dress sense of Blur's guitarist.
The team behind this have kept the original 1950's panelling, but modernised the menu with craft beer. Pieminister pies, live sports on a big screen and a free-to-play vintage jukebox, featuring Britpop classics and London artists. There are also live sessions from Camden residents on a salvaged piano in a nod to the area's former manufacturing industry.
