Out & About: Hatchards Bookshop
First Opened in 1797, by an unknown bookseller, John Hatchard, Hatchards is London oldest bookshop. It is situated on one of the finest and most well-known streets in the world, Piccadilly, occupying the current building, number 187, for over two centuries.
It currently holds three Royal Warrants, thus maintaining a strong link between the royal households of Britain and Europe. Surviving the bombs of World War II, Hatchards has become a true landmark in London.
The bookstore has various services on offer including, worldwide delivery, book sourcing and gift cards.
This is a true gem in England’s capital and worth a visit.
