Visiting KidZania At Westfield, Shepherd’s Bush
Which child wouldn’t want to make chocolate, present the weather or ‘fly’ a plane? Children aged four to 14 years can experience all of these and more at KidZania at Westfield London, Shepherd’s Bush.
Designed with children in mind, the 75,000sqft space has its own currency, so as well as being fun it’s a great way for children to learn new skills, from maths at a shop counter to first aid in the hospital and making the bed in housekeeping!
Children can also learn about pet care and nutrition in a new vet activity with Lily’s Kitchen and animal charity PDSA. Meanwhile, as a dentist, they can discover how to keep teeth healthy by learning about brushing techniques and flossing. They can then test their skills by treating a patient with cavities.
It’s not all ‘work’. The Dance Academy includes a karaoke competition, and the Acting Academy teaches kids about different types of puppetry, from marionettes to finger puppets. Parents are welcome to watch the children perform. There is so much to do at KidZania this summer, the kids will not want to miss out. Visit KidZania.co.uk for all the information you need!
