Bee Midtown Historical Holborn Walk

At 5.30pm today, head to Holborn Station Kiosk for a free, two-hour walk called Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary. The tour follows the life of Mary Anne Talbot, who disguised herself as a man so that she could fight battles for Britain during the 19th-century.

Free to join www.bee-midtown.org

Museum of London

2018 marks 100 years since the first women earned the right to vote in the UK, so the museum is celebrating with child-friendly, 30-minute storytelling sessions at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm. The stories are told by a ‘suffragette’, who will explain what she did to help fight for women’s rights.
