Out & About: Coach & Horses Pub

Walking along New Bond Street, I came across the Coach & Horses Pub. I was struck by the narrowness of the pub and the Tudor style building, an unusual site especially considering the modern style building around the area. Going in, the pub is tiny with wooden beams and panelling, leaving you with a feeling of days gone by. The walls are covered with caricatures of 19th-century politicians and clerics which adds to the atmosphere of the pub. There is a  small dining room with bar upstairs for private functions. The pub is definitely worth a visit if you want to escape the crowds of New Bond Street.
