Visiting Wonderlab at the Science Museum with kids

We sent our 12-year-old reviewer Leah Corb for a day out the Science Museum and it’s Wonderlab

When at the Science Museum, we spent most of our time in the wonderful Wonderlab. There is so much to see and do for people of all ages, from experimenting with light and matter through to electricity and space. The science demonstrations were awesome, especially Flash! Bang! Wallop!, while all the ‘explainers’ were very friendly and enthusiastic. I really liked the thermal camera that showed the coldness of my hands after they’d been in ice for a while.

The rest of the Science Museum had some really cool exhibits like the Summer of Space and the Challenge of Materials gallery.

Overall, I would recommend both museums, but for family-friendly value I preferred the Science Museum: it really hit my nerd spot!
